Once the season is over, the majority of European and American ski schools renew their gear. In SKI UNITED we want to bring warmth to the most forgotten corners of the world.
To accomplish this task, we are looking for the collaboration of these ski schools by having them recycle their ski gear, so it can be sent to orphanages, schools, hospitals, families…

SOLIDARITY SKI SCHOOL
ABOUT US
SKI UNITED is an enterprise started by the perfume brand EIGHT & BOB as part of its SCR program (Social Corporate Responsibility).
To carry out this project we have collaborated with different organizations, for example COOPERACION INTERNACIONAL ONG and CARITAS, in order to guarantee that the material reaches the proper destination.
HOW WE STARTED THE PROJECT
With the idea of making of the world a better place, Eight and Bob as part of its corporate social responsibility, wanted to create a charity project to help needed countries. Thinking about the project and owing to the love of skiing by some members of the company, we came up with an idea.
WHAT DOES THE PROJECT CONSIST ON?
Ski teachers renew their material (jackets and ski pants) every one or two years and for reasons of sponsorship and security the ski schools have to destroy it.
We discovered an opportunity of taking advantage of this material and send it to needed countries instead of destroying it.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Once the project idea was clear and the viability of the project studied, we started working.
We got in touch with the ski schools. The response was amazingly positive, in month and a half there were more than 15 schools collaborating. We eventually collected more than 300 full ski suits.
It has been such a success that we have already contacted new ski schools in USA and Europe to increase the number of participating schools in order to get the most out of this project and help the greatest possible number of people.
CONCLUSION
Little by little, working with passion and dedication, we are expanding this solidarity project in order to help more people.
